A right is marked as 'Holdback'. Can I generate a license for this right?

Yes, it is possible to generate a License even for a Right that is in "holdback" status. In the Excel report, which can be exported on the page License panel Rights, available at Main menu, there will be this information, so that the customer is aware of the Holdback period and respects these dates.

When accessing Rights Licenses Panel and find the title you're interested in, select the right one under "holdback":

Then open the "rights items" tab. When viewing the items, you can select one or more by holding down the "ctrl" key or click on the "select all" button. Then click on "create license for selected items":

When the pop-up opens, fill in the fields, choosing the client and the start and end dates of the license. If the licenses are exclusive, select the "post licenses as exclusive" checkbox. Finally, click confirm:
